Domaine Parize

The Parize family of Burgundy vignerons is now in its 6th generation, long predating the official recognition of the Givry appellation in 1946. Nevertheless they are a domain with its star on the rise, making their best wines ever and garnering increasing acclaim and following with each new vintage release.

Under Laurent the domain now represents 9ha of vines with 7 planted to Pinot Noir and 2 to Chardonnay. The domain first bottled its own wines in 1976 and now produces around 4,000 cases annually. Exclusively hand harvested fruit, rigorously cultivated from vines on average 30 years old. Their 1er cru reds are aged for approximately 12 months in 1 year old French oak barrels.
