2007 Taittinger "Comtes de Champagne" Rosé, 750ml
Sale price $1,280.00 Regular price
- Ex-winery direct.
- 100% Grand Cru. Comprised of 30% Chardonnay from the most prestigious Côte des Blancs terroirs, combined with 70% Pinot Noir sourced from the Montagne de Reims, a blend further enhanced with 15% still red wine from Bouzy Pinots, whose long pre-maceration fermentation ensures a superb tannic structure with fruit-forward aromas of red and black berries.
- The rarest cuvée of Champange Taittinger, aged for 10 years before release.
"Showing brilliantly, unfurling in the glass with a complex bouquet of blood orange, minty raspberries, red plums, dried flowers and warm brioche. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, chalky and tensile, sharing a racy, chiseled profile with its Blanc de Blancs cousin. Deep, concentrated and tightly wound, the wine concludes with a long, sapid finish."
