"There is good freshness to the ripe aromas of cassis, poached plum, earth and spice scents that are also trimmed in enough oak to notice. The more refined middle weight flavors possess a caressing and appealingly textured mouthfeel while exhibiting good punch on the mildly rustic finish that is both more complex and persistent. Despite being located in the outer reaches of the appellation, it possesses very good quality for what it is plus it should age well over the mid-term."
